Welcome to the official blog for Steps Against Homophobia.

Although the 339-mile walk from Axminster to Liverpool doesn't begin until 1 April 2027, the journey starts today.

This page is where I'll be sharing everything that happens behind the scenes as I prepare for the challenge. From planning the route and training walks to meeting football clubs, building partnerships and reaching important milestones, this is where you can follow the journey as it unfolds.

Many people will see the walk itself, but there's so much that happens before the first step is taken. Steps Against Homophobia is about more than walking 339 miles. It's about creating conversations, connecting communities and encouraging a future where everyone feels welcome in sport, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Over the coming months, I'll be documenting the highs, the challenges and everything in between. I hope these updates give you an insight into what it takes to bring a campaign like this to life.
